OhioHealth in Shelby is seeking a casual (as needed/PRN) multi-modality radiology technologist for diagnostics and CT. The role involves potential hours at Ashland and Ontario EDs, requiring radiography program graduate with ARRT registration and Ohio licensure.
The technologist will be multi-modality trained in at least one additional modality (CT, MR, US or Mammo) and must follow OhioHealth and ARRT standards while maintaining radiation safety.

Shelby Hospital is hiring a casual (as needed/PRN) multi-modality radiology technologist to work diagnostics and CT. A registered technologist with CT experience is preferred. Candidate will also have opportunity to work hours in the Ashland and Ontario Free-Standing Emergency Departments.
This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. Therefore, the technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in diagnostics or dexa and one additional modality to include CT, MR, US or Mammo.
Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas
Provides radiation safety for operator and patient
Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
