Job summary

OhioHealth in Mansfield is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for examinations and perform diagnostic radiology procedures. The role requires multi-modality training and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Graduate of an accredited radiography program, ARRT registered and Ohio licensed are required. Night shift, 24 hours per week, with opportunities to grow expertise in multiple imaging modalities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
  • Registered with ARRT.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
  • Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas.
  • Provides radiation safety for operator and patient.
  • Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
  • Performs multi-modality procedures (CT, MR, US or Mammo) as needed.

Job Description Summary

This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. Therefore, the technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in diagnostics or dexa and one additional modality to include CT, MR, US or Mammo.

Responsibilities And Duties

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics

Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas

Provides radiation safety for operator and patient

Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
