ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. seeks a Sr R&D Associate in Montvale, NJ. The role blends wet wipes and non-woven product development with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. The position is hybrid (4 days onsite weekly) and carries a 1-year contract with extension potential.

You will mentor a 5-7 person team, drive lifecycle projects from ideation through commercialization, and ensure regulatory alignment with EPA/BPD where applicable. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with up to 8 years of relevant wipes/non-wovens experience, or master's/phD with related experience.
• Proven success leading technical product development projects in wipes/non-wovens or related consumer products.
• Experience with wet wipes technologies, substrate development, and product formulation; regulatory familiarity preferred.
• Strong lifecycle understanding from ideation to commercialization; solid PM skills.
• Demonstrated leadership including team lead (5-7 people).

Our client, in consumer packaged cleaning goods industryis seeking a Sr R&D Associateto join their team. The ideal candidate will have product formulation, CPG, project management, and team lead skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr R&D Associate

Location: Montvale, NJ (Hybrid: 4 days onsite per week)

Contract: 1 Year (extension possible)

Pay Range: $51- $61 hourly

What’s the Job?

• Lead technical product development and innovation projects for wet wipes and non-woven products from concept through commercialization.
• Apply expertise in non-woven materials, substrate technologies, and product formulation to develop new products and consumer-focused solutions.
• Drive innovation by identifying business challenges and recommending novel technologies, materials, and product improvements.
• Manage multiple development projects simultaneously, partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to achieve project milestones.
• Develop technical strategies, mentor team members, and help prioritize resources to support both short-term objectives and long-term innovation goals.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with up to 8 years of relevant wipes/non-wovens experience, or Master's degree with up to 5 years, or PhD with up to 3 years of relevant surface care experience.
• Proven success leading technical product development projects within the wipes, non-wovens, or related consumer products industry.
• Experience with wet wipes technologies, substrate development, and/or product formulation; familiarity with regulatory requirements (EPA, BPD, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept ideation through commercialization, with demonstrated project management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities, with a results-driven and adaptable mindset.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team lead (5-7 people).
