ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking an R&D Associate for a consumer packaged cleaning goods client in Montvale, NJ. The role is hybrid (4 days onsite per week) and on a 6-month contract basis with potential extension.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end development of non-woven and wet wipes, drive cross-functional projects, and manage multiple development programs to achieve timelines and business objectives.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related science with 3–5 years’ experience, or MS with at least 3 years’ experience.
• Track record delivering technical FMCG projects.
• Understanding of the product development process from concept to launch.
• Proven project management including timelines and stakeholders.
• Strong formulation knowledge; wet wipes formulation experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of non-woven and wet wipes from concept to commercialization.
• Coordinate with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain.
• Manage multiple development programs, meeting timelines and milestones.
• Apply disinfection and surface-care knowledge with regulatory considerations.
• Provide technical leadership with strong problem-solving and communication.

Our client, in consumer packaged cleaning goods industryis seeking an R&D Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have product development, CPG, project management and team playingskills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: R&D Associate

Location: Montvale, NJ (Hybrid: 4 days onsite per week)

Contract: 6 Months (extension possible)

Pay Range: $35 - $50hourly

What’s the Job?

• Lead end-to-end development of non-woven and wet wipes products, from concept through commercialization, including substrate and formulation innovation.
• Drive cross-functional projects by partnering with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to deliver successful product launches.
• Manage multiple development programs, ensuring timelines, technical milestones, and business objectives are achieved.
• Apply knowledge of disinfecting and surface-care technologies, including regulatory considerations (EPA/BPD), product performance validation, and consumer needs.
• Provide technical leadership through strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with experience developing cleaning and surface-care products in a fast-paced environment.

What’s Needed?

• BS/BA degree in a related science and 3-5 years’ experience, or MS degree in a related science and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience and/or proven track record of successful delivery of technical projects in a FMCG company.
• Strong understanding of the product development process from concept ideation to launch.
• Proven Project Management skills including timeline management and coordination of key stake holders.
• Strong formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions. Wet wipes formulation experience – desired not required.
