Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer to apply expertise in ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulations while driving continuous improvements across projects.

You will review specifications, develop inspection plans, and coordinate supplier quality activities, involving risk assessments and corrective actions as needed. Experience with oil/gas or process industries is valued, with a focus on hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications.
• Develop project inspection and test plans.
• Review supplier procedures - Plan, schedule, facilitate pre-inspection meetings - Identify qualified inspectors through international inspection agencies
• Provide inspection coordination between client and suppliers
• Review inspection reports - Manage supplier quality issues
• Participate in supplier qualifications & audits including brainstorming solutions
• Continuous improvement
• Coordinate resolution and cost improvement analysis

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent

WE VALUE

• Experience in Oil/Gas, Chemical, or Power Plant Projects
• 5 years Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Inspection experience
• AWS CWI certification
• Experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1 --Experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers
• Experience with structural steel and piping fabrication
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
• Ability to work on multiple projects
