Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in Tulsa, OK. You will apply your expertise to improve quality output, ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards, and drive governance of the Quality System across projects.

You will review specs, develop inspection plans, coordinate between clients and suppliers, and participate in supplier qualifications and audits. Experience with ASME sections and AWS CWI certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in Oil/Gas, Chemical, or Power Plant Projects.
  • 5 years Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Inspection experience.
  • AWS CWI certification.
  • Experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, B31.3; experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Experience with structural steel and piping fabrication.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Review of technical specifications.
  • Develop project inspection & test plans.
  • Review supplier procedures -Plan, schedule, facilitate pre-inspection meetings -Identify qualified inspectors through international inspection agencies.
  • Provide inspection coordination between client and suppliers.
  • Review inspection reports -Manage supplier quality issues.
  • Participate in supplier qualifications & audits (including).
  • Brainstorm solutions • Continuous improvement • Coordinate resolution • Cost improvement analysis

You will participate in process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review of technical specifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
