Job Description
Hybrid; work in office 2-3 days per week.

We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Quality Engineer to join our world-class team!
Primary Responsibilities
The Sr. Quality Engineer coordinates, administers, and performs the quality function of an engineering and technical nature to ensure product quality and reliability at minimum quality costs. Assumes a responsible leadership role in the successful launch of new programs. Serves as the main quality contact for intracompany and external customers. Leads technical support and resolution of quality-related issues.
· Communicate customer program-specific quality requirements to internal stakeholders.
· Work with the internal production quality department to ensure compliance with all required quality standards, including customer-specific requirements.
· Interface with external customers as the single point of contact for issue resolution.
· Use 8D methodology to find root causes of problems related to automotive systems and components.
· Responsible for coordinating the preparation and on-time delivery of supplier AQP deliverables.
· Provide consultation for quality system gap analysis, benchmarking, and customer complaints as needed.
· Train plant personnel on quality systems as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience:
· At least 10 years of experience and/or training in automotive Tier 1 or 2, preferably with mechanical or electro-mechanical products, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
· Knowledge of quality and environmental management systems including TS16949 and ISO14001; auditing experience and certification.
· Knowledge of AIAG standards (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, LPA).
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Strong project management skills.
· Understanding of automotive component validation testing fundamentals.
· Excellent communication skills.
