Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to lead quality programs and ensure process conformity across the supply chain.

You will collaborate with customers to secure APQP artifacts and drive corrective actions on quality concerns on the shop floor. The role requires a strong background in AIAG Core Tools, PFMEA/Control Plans, and IATF16949 standards, with hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of AIAG Core Tools.
• Experience creating & maintaining PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Experience with reviewing and submitting PPAP to customers.
• Working knowledge of APQP process.
• Experience upholding IATF16949 standards.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and familiarity with tools such as 8-Discipline, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams.
• Understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support ISO 9001:2015 and ISO IATF 16949 audits.
• Serve as main contact for external customer concerns; monitor, respond, initiate corrective actions, follow up, close and track complaints.
• Drive implementation of quality policies and operating procedures.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and in-plant personnel.
• Troubleshoot on the shop floor.

Sr. Quality Engineer

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Work with customers to obtain all necessary APQP documents including Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans
• Support internal as well as third party ISO: 9001:2015 Quality Management System audits and ISO-IATF 16949
• Serve as main contact for external customer concerns. Monitor, respond, initiate corrective actions, follow up, close and track customer complaints
• Drive implementation of all quality policies and required operating procedures and work instructions
• Schedule and conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and in-plant personnel
• Ability to trouble shoot on the shop floor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Quality Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of AIAG Core Tools
• Experience creating & maintaining PFMEA and Control Plans
• Experience with reviewing and submitting PPAP to customers
• Working knowledge of APQP process
• Experience with upholding IATF16949 standards
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and familiarity with tools such as 8-Discipline, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams

This full-time, role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Quality Manager.
