Job Summary

Provide specialized support for Quality activities by developing quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.

Job Description
  • Lead internal ISO 9001 self-assessment audits, coordinate external customer & agency audits.
  • Oversee customer complaint system to expedite problem resolution and failure analysis.
  • Assist QA Manager with Plant and Department Quality performance metrics to measure, report, and act on Quality indicators.
  • Act as project leader for factory improvement efforts related to reduced cost and improved quality.
  • Establish quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with management, production operators, technicians, and engineers.
  • Deliver innovations in quality control systems that increase customer satisfaction and are compatible with ERP systems.
  • Participate in establishing raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements, negotiating with suppliers, and devising testing methods.
  • Guide inspection staff through disposition of non-conforming material & print GD&T.
  • Participate in 5S events, Kaizen, and LEAN Enterprise activities.
  • Work with calibration staff to resolve calibration issues, reduce operating costs, and improve measurement and test equipment performance.
  • Write and revise operating procedures to comply with new practices and external certification requirements.
  • Support occasional travel (up to 10%) to assist suppliers and customers.
Work Experience Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing or related areas.
  • Excellent leadership and process management skills.
  • Skilled in developing employees within manufacturing processes.
Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or science field, or a combination of education and experience.
