Mandatory Experience: Automotive Domain

Key Responsibilities:

• QA Process & Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, ensuring structured execution across mobile apps and API environments.

• Test Scenarios & 3rd-Party Integration: Create and execute functional and integration tests, validating third-party service interactions.

• Test Data Management: Define and maintain test datasets, ensuring consistency across environments. Troubleshoot environmental issues affecting test data integrity.

• Bug Fixing & Deadline Management: Proactively identify defects, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure timely delivery of fixes.

• Team & Scope Management: Collaborate with teams to balance testing scope, timelines, and workload, ensuring efficient test execution.

• Network & Environment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network-related application issues in testing environments.

• Automation & API Testing: Develop automated test scripts for RESTful APIs (Postman, Newman, JMeter) and mobile applications.

• Testing Framework Implementation: Work with modern test automation frameworks for mobile and API testing (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).

• Regression & Validation: Conduct rigorous regression testing to validate API response bodies and system behavior before production.

• Production Readiness: Establish critical pre-launch checkpoints, verifying security, performance, and stability.

• Lower Environment Testing: Manage test accounts and data configurations in lower environments to simulate production conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in QA testing for mobile and APIs.

• Strong expertise in API testing tools (Postman, Newman, JMeter) and mobile frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCTest).

• Experience in automating test cases for mobile and API environments.

• Deep understanding of test environments, including network troubleshooting and data validation.

• Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Proficiency in test case prioritization and scope management in limited timelines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
