Job summary

Business Intelligence & Informatics Consultant Services, Inc. (BIICS, Inc) is seeking a Quality Engineering Consultant for an on-site Tallahassee assignment. You will lead test planning, develop and execute test plans, write cases, and drive QA metrics alongside developers and stakeholders.

This contract role requires 7+ years in IT/QA, knowledge of SQL Server testing, and ability to translate requirements into test plans while delivering high-quality software on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of IT and business experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance with systems development or testing.
• Minimum 2 years of audit or assessment experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and goals to produce deliverables.
• Review functional and design specs to ensure test requirements are met.
• Develop and execute formal test plans for quality software delivery.
• Write test cases/scripts and participate in test case automation.

Job Description

BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a QualityEngineering Consultant position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Floridaand work is on-site . The staff augmentation consultants are required tobe off the week of Christmas and New Year unless services are required withprior approval from division leadership.

Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Experiencein database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designingand manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers andreplication.
• Ability to translate technicalrequirements & test plans.
