Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to support modernization efforts, including converting SAS legacy apps to Python and deploying on AWS Cloud. The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, with remote work flexibility and periodic customer meetings.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years Python experience, 4+ years AWS cloud development, and strong system engineering background to modernize on-prem processing systems and leverage cloud-native features.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or above is desired.
• Python (5+ years)
• AWS Cloud Development (4+ years)
• System Engineering (4+ years)

Responsabilidades

• Understand the processes used to handle Trade and Worker Demographics statistical data, as currently implemented by the U.S government.
• Modernize two large mainly on-prem processing systems that uses SAS script with cloud supported technology, using python as the main target language.
• Implement new processing capabilities on the AWS Cloud, making use of native cloud functionality and existing AI capabilities
