Spatial Front, Inc is seeking a Sr. Cloud and Python Developer to lead modernization of Census applications. You will migrate on-prem workloads to AWS, refactor SAS to Python, replace Java services with serverless solutions, and modernize PostgreSQL databases.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, strong Python development skills, and experience with containerization, DevSecOps, and data migration. Remote work with on-site meetings may occur.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years designing and implementing cloud-based applications.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS serverless development (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• 5+ years Python development for applications, APIs, data processing.
• Experience migrating on-prem to AWS and modernizing legacy SAS/Java stacks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and modernize Census app in an AWS cloud and EDL context.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, Glue, and serverless tech.
• Migrate SAS code to Python and modernize Java services into microservices.
• Develop Python APIs and data processing workflows; ensure security and DevSecOps practices.
• Maintain PostgreSQL schemas, performance tuning, and data migrations.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker/ECS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, DBAs, and stakeholders on migration strategies.
