Position Overview

As a Senior Proposal Specialist, you will work on some of the most challenging and exciting projects across the United States. You will be responsible for managing the full proposal lifecycle for infrastructure projects ranging from $10M to over $1B. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, experience in a fast-paced environment, and an interest in engineering and construction. Experience in managing proposals and facilitating team integration is essential. You should work well both independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable with tight deadlines.

Kiewit Infrastructure Proposal Services supports the company's Get Work efforts, from qualifications through interview phases. Our team develops winning strategies and content for proposals across various markets, including transportation, marine, and building projects. We employ a collaborative approach to developing proposals through brainstorming, critical concept meetings, and regular reviews. Location

This position is based in Lone Tree, CO, with a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as a regional proposal resource, working with teams to deliver high-quality, winning proposals.
2. Lead and deliver complex proposals while supporting ongoing proposal efforts.
3. Analyze RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, and develop comprehensive response templates.
4. Facilitate proposal kick-offs, milestone reviews, and recovery periods.
5. Manage proposal sections to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
6. Organize strategy sessions and storyboarding to incorporate concepts and data.
7. Lead proposal and graphics teams in developing deliverables.
8. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information for proposals.
9. Serve as lead writer for various proposal sections.
10. Coordinate with creative teams to develop compelling graphics.
11. Ensure timely formatting, editing, and revision of documents.
12. Implement standard proposal methods and tools.
13. Oversee proposal production and delivery.
14. Maintain proposal database and files.
15. Support continuous improvement of proposal practices and templates.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proposal coordination/writing experience in engineering/construction or similar industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Effective virtual and in-person meeting facilitation skills.
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce concise, compelling, and compliant content.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Effective communication and professional interaction skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Compensation and Benefits
