Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Senior Project Manager for infrastructure, roadway and utilities in Florida's Gulf Coast region. The role oversees FDOT-style projects across Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, with a direct-hire, confidential search setup.

You will own full lifecycle delivery from planning through closeout, coordinating utility relocations and leading teams of consultants, contractors and inspectors. A strong FDOT background is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years managing large infrastructure, roadway, utility or transportation projects.
• Working command of FDOT standards, specifications and permitting.
• Strong grounding in MOT, drainage, earthwork, paving and bridge coordination.
• Experience with GMP, design build or CMAR delivery methods.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera P6 and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle delivery from planning and preconstruction through construction and closeout.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts and execution plans.
• Coordinate utility relocation across water, sewer, stormwater, gas, electric and telecom.
• Manage consultants, contractors, subcontractors and inspection teams.
• Handle change orders, pay applications, claims and contract administration.
• Maintain relationships with FDOT, municipalities, counties and utility owners.
