Help lead critical outage execution at our Ottumwa Generation Facility where you’ll own the end-to-end planning of complex, high-impact maintenance events that keep our plants running safely and reliably. As an onsite Senior Project Manager, you’ll spend up to a year building detailed outage plans—aligning stakeholders, sequencing work, and mitigating risk—before planned and unplanned outages. This role is ideal for a PM who thrives in high-stakes environments, values safety above all, and excels at coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades on schedule, on budget, and without compromising operational integrity.
Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, development, administration, risk management, implementation, control, and closure of large‑sized projects across multiple business units through the Alliant Energy Program and Project Management department.

Pay Range:
$125,000-$135,000
This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
