We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Consulting & Professional Services division and support a strategic PMO transformation initiative for a key client within our Utilities portfolio. In this role, you will work directly with client stakeholders to modernize project delivery practices, improve portfolio visibility, establish scalable governance frameworks, and help drive a more data-driven PMO operating model across the organization.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the transformation and ongoing operation of a large-scale enterprise PMO. This individual will be responsible for leading complex projects, driving disciplined execution, establishing consistent governance and delivery practices, improving project visibility, and ensuring projects are managed against clearly defined performance standards.

The ideal candidate brings a strong PMO background, including experience working within, standing up, transforming, or maturing a Project Management Office. This individual should be comfortable bringing structure to complex environments, implementing standardized project-management practices, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and improving visibility and accountability across project delivery.

The role will operate across business and technology stakeholders and support the evolution toward a more standardized, accountable, data-driven, and outcome-focused PMO operating model.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead complex business and technology initiatives while helping evolve and strengthen enterprise PMO capabilities.

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, and closeout
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
• Coordinate business and technology stakeholders across multiple workstreams
• Drive accountability, issue resolution, and proactive risk management
• Monitor project health and implement corrective actions when needed

PMO Governance & Transformation

• Support the maturation and evolution of an enterprise PMO
• Implement and promote standardized project management best practices
• Establish governance frameworks, operating rhythms, decision rights, and escalation paths
• Drive consistency across planning, reporting, risk management, and project controls
• Contribute to repeatable delivery methodologies, governance models, and PMO playbooks

Reporting, Controls & Performance Management

• Manage scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and dependencies
• Maintain RAID logs and mitigation plans
• Deliver executive-level project and portfolio reporting
• Support forecasting, project health measurement, and portfolio visibility
• Develop meaningful KPI and project performance metrics

Stakeholder Leadership

• Partner with executive leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams
• Facilitate project reviews, risk discussions, and strategic decision-making sessions
• Translate complex project information into actionable executive communications
• Build trust through transparency, accountability, and predictable execution

Process Improvement & Digital Enablement

• Identify opportunities for PMO automation and workflow optimization
• Support implementation of modern PMO tools and reporting capabilities
• Participate in AI-enabled project management and process improvement initiatives
• Help create scalable and sustainable delivery frameworks

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within complex enterprise environments
• Strong experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO)
• Experience helping stand up, transform, mature, or optimize PMO functions
• Strong understanding of project governance, project controls, risk management, reporting, and delivery standards
• Experience managing enterprise initiatives involving multiple business and technical stakeholders
• Proven success managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to create visibility, accountability, and structure in complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Experience supporting enterprise PMO transformation initiatives
• Portfolio governance and executive reporting experience
• ServiceNow SPM, SAP, or similar portfolio management platforms
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Process improvement, workflow automation, or AI-enabled delivery experience

Bonus Experience

Candidates with experience supporting utility, energy, infrastructure, or oil & gas organizations are highly preferred.

Additional experience in any of the following areas is a strong plus:

• Electric, gas, utility, or energy operations
• Asset management and infrastructure programs
• Engineering, construction, or capital project environments
• GIS, asset records, work management, or data quality initiatives
• Records reconciliation or large-scale operational improvement programs
