Job summary

Job description

The Senior Project Manager leads the successful delivery of capital improvement, renovation, and new construction projects from initial planning and design through pre-construction and final completion. Serving as a strategic partner to organizational leadership and key stakeholders, this role ensures every project aligns with operational goals, budget expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

By collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors, the Senior Project Manager drives seamless project execution, proactively manages risks, and delivers innovative, cost-effective solutions. With a strong focus on communication, leadership, and accountability, this role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting the organization's long-term growth and infrastructure objectives.

Qualifications
Education
  • Requires minimum Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's Degree and/or professional registration preferred.
Experience
  • Requires a minimum of eight (8) years' experience related experience that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities with enterprise projects.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in a healthcare or equivalent setting.
Certification/Licensure
  • Professional licensure or industry certification related to architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Must be approachable, people oriented, and a good listener.
  • Requires the ability to be a creative, independent thinker.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to build relationships with business and key stakeholders.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing design and construction projects of varying size and complexity ranging from $2M to $300M.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team both internal and external.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
