Job summary

Overture Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives, including large-scale IT transformations, infrastructure modernization, and migration projects. The role requires strong client engagement, delivery expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, and timelines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years leading large IT transformation or migration initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in IS / Business / PM or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years PM experience in IT environments
  • Experience in consulting or services organizations
  • Strong PM methodologies, governance, delivery frameworks
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder comms
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with exec-level stakeholders
  • Ability to build consensus across technical and business teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of technology-focused projects
  • Maintain accountability for schedules, milestones, deliverables, and performance
  • Ensure adherence to PM standards, processes and governance
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to support financial objectives
  • Manage scope changes and evaluate impacts on timelines and costs
  • Serve as primary client-facing contact and escalation point
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, consultants and stakeholders to goals
  • Facilitate status meetings and provide clear reporting to stakeholders
  • Identify, track, mitigate and escalate risks and issues
  • Oversee project documentation, communications, deliverables and artifacts
  • Support on-site project activities when required
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery and customer satisfaction

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives, including large-scale IT transformations, infrastructure modernization efforts, and migration projects. This is a high-impact role requiring strong client engagement skills, deep project delivery expertise, and the ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, and timelines. Candidates with demonstrated success delivering enterprise technology projects in a consulting environment will be prioritized for interview consideration.

Must Haves
  • At least 2 years of experience leading large-scale IT transformation or migration initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience within information technology environments
  • Proven experience managing projects within a professional consulting or services organization
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and delivery frameworks
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
  • Ability to build consensus and influence teams across technical and business functions
What the Client Needs You to Do

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end delivery of technology projects while serving as the primary liaison between clients and project teams. This role requires balancing customer expectations, project profitability, delivery quality, and resource coordination to ensure successful outcomes.

You will collaborate with technical specialists, business leaders, and client stakeholders to drive projects from planning through execution while proactively managing risks, scope changes, and project communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology-focused projects
  • Maintain accountability for project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and overall performance
  • Ensure adherence to established project management standards, processes, and governance requirements
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to support financial objectives
  • Manage scope changes and evaluate impacts to timelines, costs, and project outcomes
  • Serve as the primary client-facing contact and escalation point throughout project delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Facilitate project status meetings and provide clear reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and escalation project risks and issues as necessary
  • Oversee project documentation, communications, deliverables, and project artifacts
  • Support on-site project activities when required
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and customer satisfaction
Additional Information
  • Experience with cloud migration initiatives is highly desirable
  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP) is preferred
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, collaboration, and productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based collaboration platforms is beneficial
  • Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure environments, including applications, servers, networking, storage, and cloud technologies, is preferred
  • Understanding of data center operations, disaster recovery, change management, and systems administration concepts is advantageous
  • Experience with time tracking, expense management, and professional services operational processes is a plus
  • Position reports to senior leadership within the Program Management organization
  • May require occasional travel and on-site client engagement depending on project requirements
