The United Illuminating Company, a major energy provider, is seeking a Senior Project Manager CUC in Orange, CT. The role leads cross-functional teams, manages scope, schedule and budget, and interfaces with client stakeholders to deliver complex programs across digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential channels.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with foreign education equivalency accepted.
• Five to seven years of project/program management experience and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience presenting to executives and managing scope, schedule and budget.

Responsabilidades

• Build and develop the project team to maximize performance with direction and motivation.
• Lead projects from requirements through deployment, including schedules, budgets and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Analyze status and revise scope/schedule/budget as needed to meet requirements.
• Maintain relationships with client stakeholders and provide day-to-day project updates.
• Establish processes for managing scope and setting quality standards across the lifecycle.
• Manage integrated databases for digital, print, social, broadcast and experiential projects.
• Develop partnerships with vendors and researchers.
• Assign and monitor resources to maximize deliverables.
• Report outcomes and risks to management per the project plan.

Job Duties

• Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.


• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.


• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.


• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.


• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.


• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.


• Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects.


• Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.


• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.


• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and elevate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.

Job Requirements

• Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and seven (7) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience is gained.


• Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience is gained.


• Must have 5 years of experience in: Program and project management: Leading cross-functional teams on projects (including broad scope, high customer impact, and a regulatory deliverable); Coaching individuals and team members within the scope of the project, including indirect internal employees and external contractors; and, Training of project testers on testing tools: Hewlett-Packard Application Lifecycle Management tool.


• Must have 3 years of experience in: Communicating with and presenting to high-level executives and external stakeholders; and Leading organizational change management initiatives.


• Must have 1 year of experience in database and operating systems: SAP Industry Solution for Utilities – ECC, Customer Relations Management (CRM), and Business Intelligence and Business Warehouse experience.
