Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to sit in Frisco, TX. You will oversee multiple construction projects, manage budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget openings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, landlords, general contractors, and trade workers, preparing reports, and ensuring safety and regulatory adherence. A PMP is preferred and 18+ age required; travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years experience as a Construction Manager or similar role (Preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of construction industry and ability to analyze problems and strategize solutions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively; self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Project Management software.

Job Overview

This role manages construction projects to ensure completion within established timeframes and budget constraints. It involves overseeing financial budgets, coordinating with contractors, and managing construction schedules and materials. The role requires supervising multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations. Success is measured by timely project completion, budget adherence, and effective communication with stakeholders. The work impacts organizational operations by delivering completed construction spaces ready for operational use and supporting local teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage financial budgets and cost estimates to support construction project planning and execution
  • Develop construction projects by collaborating with architects, landlords, general contractors, and trade workers
  • Coordinate and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors to maintain project timelines

  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of related work experience
    OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience
    OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 5 years experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar position in construction management. (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate and precise attention to detail. Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software.
  • Knowledgeofhow local, state, and federal building code regulations work.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age

The base pay range for this position in Frisco, TX is $96,000 to $129,900.

Base Pay Range: $85,800 - $154,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
