Job summary

Keeley Companies, a leading civil infrastructure firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager for its St. Louis, MO operations. The role involves oversight of all project aspects including scheduling, estimating, quality control, and cost reporting, with responsibility for growth of the project team.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, coordinate with owners and engineers, and ensure effective progress from bidding through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Eight years of experience performing the listed project management responsibilities.
• Experience with structural concrete, excavation, utilities, wastewater and earthwork preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned civil infrastructure projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate design reviews, safety, and proposal preparation; manage multiple project teams across projects.
• Maintain relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors and staff; mentor junior staff and oversee project engineers and PMs.

Keeley Construction is looking to hire aSr Project Manager for our Civil Infrastructure Group in St. Louis, MO.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams and plan/schedule multiple projects.Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
• Balancetime between projects, estimating, and business development.
• Maintainpositiveworking relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and other team members.
• Overseeprojectengineers,assistantprojectmanagers,projectmanagers,andfield staff.Take responsibility for growing and guiding their team's growth withintheirroles.Opinionsand adviceofthe senior project manageraresought outto overcome challengesand constructability.
• Partakes in proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Maintain all profit and performance responsibility on projects.Strong financial and resource management skillsto forecast project costs, subcontractor outcomes, andidentifyand rectify potential and actual risks associated with their projects.
• Manages the buyout process and theselectionof subcontractors.
• Responsible for all contracts & subcontractor/vendor roles associated with their projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of eight years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.
• Background of technical skills and understanding of structural concrete, excavation, utilities, wastewater, and earthwork methods.
• Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.
