Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Logistics Project Manager to own the material shipping and delivery schedule across domestic and international shipments, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time product readiness.

The role requires strong knowledge of import/export regulations, carrier management, routing optimization, and performance tracking to support continuous improvement and reliable customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in computer system applications, including three years of experience as coordinator/manager.
  • Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and multiple internal work groups and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize delivery model.
  • Strong skills: coordination, active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing, monitoring, service orientation, time management, judgment and decision making, and active learning.
  • Experience with PC or Server Hardware knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the material shipping and delivery schedule.
  • Knowledge of national and international import/export regulations and ability to troubleshoot issues in international freight transportation.
  • Coordinate with existing transportation suppliers on delivery rates and routing.
  • Coordinate internal teams on routing, equipment, and frequency recommendations.
  • Establish or monitor supply chain performance measurement systems.
  • Control and follow up of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure partners in the supply chain work effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, and training/safety records.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sr. Logistics Project Manager who would be responsible for ensuring the success of material shipping and delivery schedule. The candidate is expected to provide accurate shipping and delivery schedule for new and existing products by working closely with internal and external teams. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate ability to integrate interior recourses to benefit the company by facilitating continuous growth and performance maximization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the material shipping and delivery schedule.
  • Have a knowledge of national and international import/export regulations and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.
  • Responsible for working with existing transportation suppliers on best-in-class delivery rate and delivery routing.
  • Coordinate internal teams on recommending optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment or frequency.
  • Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
  • Control and follow up of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive products on time.
  • Ensure all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain metric, reports, process documentation, customer service log, as well as training and safety records.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Salary Range

$110,000-$140,000
