Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex initiatives aligned to state and federal mandates. You will own end-to-end delivery, manage budgets, schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a matrix environment.

The role requires extensive project management experience, familiarity with PMBOK, and ability to navigate the SDLC and enterprise processes. This is a flex hybrid role located in Tulsa, OK with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with PM experience required or 7+ years of PM experience.
• Familiarity with PMBOK and managing large/complex projects.
• Understanding of project financial tracking and budgeting.
• Strong negotiation and political savvy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and meeting facilitation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Analytical, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience across SDLC and various delivery models (OWF, Scrum, XP).

Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading large complex projects for state and federal mandates. Being accountable for end-to-end delivery of a project or program, including managing the cost / budget, schedule & dependencies; ensuring the project scope is aligned with the stated business objectives. Providing a blend of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development and implementation of strategic projects. Building a sufficient level of knowledge of products and lob to enable targeted probing of delivery feasibility and conflicts with other projects. Setting and managing customer expectations; managing and escalating issues and changes. Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders to obtain project objectives while working in a matrix project environment. Driving deliverables and activities with pdl and it product managers or their program manager by removing barriers, and escalating risk/issues. Having a thorough understanding of systems development life cycle and project management and enterprise processes.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with 5 years project management experience OR 7 years project management experience.
• Familiarity and experience with Project Management Methodologies (i.e. Project Management Institute – PMBOK), and experience in project delivery and management of large and/or complex projects.
• Understanding of project financial tracking including monitoring and reporting on budget expenditures.
• Experience in negotiations, managing conflict, and organizational / political savvy.
• Verbal and written communication skills, as well as meeting facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills; agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
• Ability to create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans.
• Ability to multi-task and balance multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to influence (direct / indirect reports, project stakeholders, and leaders), and manage in a matrix organization.
• Structured, organized and methodical in execution, takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, drives for results and drives certainty in delivery; able to manage multiple parallel efforts and deliver quality deliverables on schedule.
• Develops trusted relationships and demonstrates deep Interpersonal skills.
• Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception to development to testing to production deployment and maintenance; deep understanding of HCSC delivery models – OWF, Scrum, XP.
• Regular in-person attendance at the designated facility of the job posting.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
• Health care acumen and HCSC experience
• Comfort/poise with senior management

• Knowledge of the Clarity PPM system, and expertise in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PPT, Word, Project.

This is a Flex (hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

Base Pay Range

$92,700.00 - $167,500.00

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.
