Job summary

Forsgren Associates in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction. You will manage engineers and technical staff, develop proposals, scopes, and budgets, and deliver value-driven engineering solutions.

You will mentor staff, drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and partner with leadership on strategic planning across the western U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Utah (or ability to obtain such a license).
• 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Project management experience including development of project proposals, scopes, budgets, and successful execution of engineering projects.
• Strong staff mentorship and performance management capabilities.
• Experience with strategic planning, client development, and operational oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

• Strengthen and expand client relationships and workload through responsive, value-driven engineering solutions.
• Guide and mentor staff to cultivate a high-performing team culture focused on quality, accountability, and professional growth.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships by proactively identifying new business opportunities through networking, thoughtful engagement, proposal preparation, and client presentations, supporting the growth of our regional business development program.
• Partner with division leadership on strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management throughout the western U.S.
• Play a central role in talent development, succession planning, and long-term organizational sustainability.
