Job summary

Sterling Engineering is seeking a PMP-certified Project Manager to lead engineering and capital projects at our Lake Bluff facility. You will own project schedules, planning, meetings, action tracking, risks, and stakeholder communications across 3–4 concurrent initiatives, coordinating with project engineers, operations, facilities, vendors, and contractors.

• Manage execution, risks, and changes across engineering and capital projects.

Position: Project Manager – Engineering & Capital Projects

Location: Lake Bluff, IL 60044 onsite daily

Duration: 12+ months

I am looking for a PMP-certified Project Manager with 5+ years managing engineering or capital projects involving manufacturing equipment, equipment installations, equipment upgrades, or facility improvements.

In this role you will manage 3–4 concurrent projects, work alongside the Project Engineers and you will own project schedules, planning, meetings, action tracking, risks, stakeholder communication, and execution. Partner with Project Engineers, Operations, Facilities, vendors, and contractors.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• PMP certification
• Experience coordinating equipment or facility projects.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
