JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL FUNCTION

Overall mission is to provide a single point of contact and control for customer satisfaction improvement initiatives. Responsible for collecting project ideas and requirements, defining scope, providing high-level effort and impact assessments, and managing a range of cross-functional corporate projects from initiation through implementation. Will also need to further the goal of standardization by working with Customer Satisfaction, Operations, Customer Service, Sales, IT, Product Management, Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, and other functions to deliver measurable and sustainable improvements.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collects project ideas and requirements from business users, field Customer Satisfaction teams, customers, leadership, and corporate functions.
  • Provides initial estimates of customer and business impact, effort, complexity, resource needs, risks, and dependencies.
  • Develops project scope, objectives, deliverables, business requirements, project charters, business cases, success measures, and implementation road maps.
  • Manages a range of concurrent customer satisfaction and continuous improvement projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
  • Creates and maintains project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, governance, risk and issue logs, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitors project effectiveness, tracks benefits, and coordinates improvements as required.
  • Communicates complicated matters in a simple, structured way to senior management.
  • Gets work done through cooperation with other groups with no direct reporting relationship to position and understands both operational needs and system constraints.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education - bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, analytics, industrial engineering, project management or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of managing large, cross-functional projects or strategic business initiatives
  • Experience in collecting requirements, defining project scope, assessing effort and impact, and developing business cases
  • Experience in creating project plans and strategic road maps
  • Experience in delivering projects on schedule and not exceeding budget
  • Capable of effectively managing risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and mitigation plans
  • Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence business users and stakeholders and deliver results without direct authority
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in customer experience, manufacturing, laboratory operations, IT-enabled transformation, operations, or supply chain.
  • Familiarity with CSAT, NPS, service, quality, financial, and operational performance measures.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking on a broad range of assignments.
  • Sense of urgency for results; well-organized and able to handle detailed work in a fast-paced environment.
