Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking a Senior Project Manager to plan and run high-impact projects at the Broken Arrow, OK site. You’ll optimize safety, quality, delivery and cost while leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a BS in manufacturing or supply chain, 10+ years of project management, and a PMP/Lean Six Sigma background is a plus. Travel up to 30% is expected. Competitive USD salary packaged with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science required, and Master of Science preferred or equivalent qualification in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • 10+ years of successful experience in projects management.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma principles and tools; Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Experience in production industrialization is a plus (layout optimization, takt-time analysis, and process validation).
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership, motivation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across departments and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-directed and decisive, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and execute major projects/programs containing varying capital investments to support the Broken Arrow site and Business Unit.
  • Develop and implement major transformations with new ways of working that includes people, processes and investments.
  • Initiate projects through business cases definition and promotion: gains VS costs and time to profit.
  • Manage all project components: scope, budget & planning; teams’ animation; change management; risks; communication & lobbying; reporting & steering committees.
  • Follow up on the complete project specification, objectives, deliverables, time plan and cost, including own projects and sub-projects.
  • Establish clear priorities; schedules activities to ensure optimum use of time and resources; monitors performance against objectives.
  • Lead, develop, motivate high performing project teams.
  • Manage key stakeholders and provide status update to steering committees and business leaders.
  • Support, coach and train local colleagues, be the contact point with Operations Development management team.
  • Be involved in air factories operational plan management.

About the role

The Sr Project Manager will plan and run projects/programs with major impact on technology, organization/people, footprint structures, and processes to optimize the overall performance of the site. Support the business unit and product groups to improve efficiencies to ensure customer value by improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost in a fast-paced and high energy environment. This position will manage projects, with medium to high complexity and potentially a significant business impact, in accordance with Alfa Laval’s project methodology to reach desired outcome. This position is an onsite in Broken Arrow, OK.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement major transformations with new ways of working that includes people, processes and investments. Developing the new & the existing products as well as transforming the Supply Chain. Implementation of the Air footprint strategy.
  • Initiate projects through business cases definition and promotion: gains VS costs and time to profit.
  • Manage all project components: scope, budget & planning; teams’ animation; change management; risks; communication & lobbying; reporting & steering committees.
  • Follow up on the complete project specification, objectives, deliverables, time plan and cost, including own projects and sub-projects.
  • Establish clear priorities; schedules activities to ensure optimum use of time and resources; monitors performance against objectives.
  • Lead, develop, motivate high performing project teams.
  • Manage key stakeholders and provide status update to steering committees and business leaders.

What you know

Shop Floor - The noise level in the work environment is often loud. Shop Floor - Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs)

Traveling approximately up to 30%, domestic and international (estimation).

Compensation

The base salary for this role is typically $136,000.00 to $161,000.00 USD a year.
