Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience coordinating electrical projects.
• Expert knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA70E standards.
• Strong understanding of automation and controls fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates internal/external electrical resources for infrastructure supporting projects and startups.
• Oversees and designs complex electrical distribution layouts and equipment layouts.
• Designs and sizes circuits and related distribution requirements.
• Plans and coordinates equipment requisitions, scope, and scheduling for electrical distribution projects.
• Troubleshoots complex project performance issues (scheduling, vendor performance).
• Collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and production facilities to determine technical solutions.
• Liaises with equipment vendors to develop new manufacturing/process technology.

The Role

Senior-level position responsible for managing and/or coordinating electrical projects including, but not limited to, design, estimating and/or quote requests, procurement, and management of internal and external electrical project work groups (in coordination with Electrical Engineer). Utilizes expert knowledge in electrical work including National Electrical Code, electrical distribution, NFPA70E, as well as understanding of automation and controls fundamentals.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinates/schedules internal and/or external electrical resources for electrical infrastructure supporting projectand startups. Is an expert in electrical distribution and is able to design electrical systems.
• Oversees and/or designs complex electrical distribution layouts and equipment layouts (including wiring diagrams, schematics, and functional specifications). Able to design/size circuits and related distribution requirements.
• Coordinate electrical distribution focused projects (including developing scope, project request, equipment requisition, planning/scheduling, and implementation).
• Troubleshoots & provides solutions on complex project performance issues (scheduling, vendor performance; issues equipment vendors are unable to resolve).
• Works with Operations, Engineering, and the production facilities to help determine technical solutions for new product concepts and capacity constraints.
• Strong knowledge base/working relationship with equipment vendors and industry technical leaders.
• Collaborates with equipment vendors to develop new manufacturing/process technology.
