Senior Project Engineer – Supplier Quality

A hybrid role based in Kohler, Wisconsin requiring on‑site work 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure alignment across all phases of the project.
• Interface with vendors to ensure technical and delivery expectations are met.
• Perform assignments of a complicated nature.
• Participate in project reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• Operate independently with limited guidance from managers and/or senior engineers.
• Support or lead multiple projects concurrently.
• Lead the technical work of projects and other supplier quality initiatives.
• Manage all assigned New Product Development (NPD) supplier quality duties.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports, risk assessments, and change management documentation.
• Independently prioritize and execute tasks with the customer in mind.
• Demonstrate and act on quality traits: analytical, hands‑on, high standards, facilitating, and systematic.
• Be proficient in Supplier Quality Engineering and problem‑solving tools.
• Identify systemic root causes of quality issues.
• Perform independent management system/quality audits.
• Apply advanced quality planning concepts as applicable.
• Lead supplier quality engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of relevant work experience in quality/manufacturing engineering.

Compensation

Salary range: $89,800.00 - $114,100.00.
