Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead Business Readiness Deployment for the MFC1LMX initiative. Priority consideration will be given to candidates affiliated with EBDT within Enterprise Operations.

This role coordinates readiness across functions, maintains a comprehensive readiness plan, and supports data cleansing, cutover, and hypercare activities to ensure a smooth launch. It also tracks KPIs and aligns release windows with business readiness requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of transformation or project-management experience in defense, aerospace, or similarly complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Readiness Assessments across functional areas to identify gaps in people, process, and technology before go-live.
• Maintain a Business Readiness Plan that includes training, communications, data-migration, cutover, hyper-care, and post-deployment support.
• Support Data Cleansing, Cutover, and Hypercare activities, ensuring data integrity, system stability, and rapid issue resolution during and after launch.
• Monitor Readiness KPIs (e.g., % of users trained, issue resolution time, adoption rates) and report status to senior leadership.
• Lead the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of MFC1LMX new-demand requests and software/feature releases; collaborate enterprise stakeholders to align release windows with business readiness activities, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Act as central liaison among IT, business SMEs, 1LMX Enterprise teams, and MFC executives.
• Synthesize data from multiple domains to inform decision-making and maintain cohesive execution.

GeoZone Definition:

GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $106600.00 - $198000.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $95900.00 - $178100.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $85300.00 - $158300.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $76700.00 - $142500.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX; etc.
