Hill International is seeking a Sr Project Engineer/Area Manager in Orlando, Florida

This person will work closely with our North Florida Vice President of Roadways & Highways in our Orlando/Jacksonville team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Directing and assigning specific tasks to inspectors and assisting in all phases of the construction project.
2. Managing progress and final estimates throughout the construction project duration.

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience with FDOT CEI.
• Supervised two or more projects, including support staff (Office Manager, Compliance Officer, Secretary) and Inspectors, with direct responsibility for all CEI / FDOT services.
• A civil engineering degree or related PE License in Florida, plus five years of engineering experience in major road or bridge construction; or, for non-degreed personnel, eight years of responsible engineering experience, including two years in major road or bridge construction.
• FDOT Advanced MOT certification.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II.
• CTQP Quality Control Manager certification.
