Job summary

Delek US Holdings is seeking a project engineer/lead to direct planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and mentoring for midsized to major capital projects. You will ensure technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost goals are met across engineering initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross‑functional collaboration with operations, design, procurement, and construction teams, with opportunities to guide early‑career engineers and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess engineering fundamentals and strong analytical abilities.
• Experience leading capital project planning and execution.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for engineering projects.
• Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
• Mentors and trains early‑career project engineers.
• Collaborates with design and construction activities with operations, field personnel, procurement, engineering, and construction contractors.
