Sr Program Mgmt Specialist (Innovation PM)
Responsibilities
- Supporting project management and support services for innovative business improvement projects
- Creating strategic communication products for senior leadership and workforce reporting
- Communicating with Program Managers and points of contact from customer organizations
- Developing materials for program management coaching to help innovation project owners succeed; reviewing, shaping, aligning, facilitating, providing pitch coaching, and incubating bottom‑up innovation projects through innovation campaigns, open calls, and leadership‑directed tasking
- Facilitating workshops with large teams to strengthen collaboration, communication, practices, and efficiency
- Supporting the purchase, development, implementation, and workforce adoption of Artificial Intelligence tools
- Conducting research activities, drawing connections between latest regulations/policies and acquisition management gaps, and formulating logical justifications for potential pilots or prototypes
- Supporting the building, testing, and maintaining various project management tools and templates on a routine basis, and supporting the decommissioning or updating of outdated tools or templates
- Developing and tracking key success metrics by setting up data collection processes, monitoring project impact and status, generating reports, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals to guide decision‑making and improve innovation processes
Requirements
Minimum Education & Minimum Years: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Experience in leading or supporting business process improvement, innovation, program management, modernization, and transformation projects
- Proficiency with program management tools
- Ability to create presentations, organize tasks, and drive forward progress
- Familiarity with business improvement processes and strategic impact initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clearance
Must either hold an active Secret Clearance or be willing to obtain one promptly.
Location
Los Angeles Air Force Base – El Segundo, CA (On‑Site, 5 days a week)
Salary
Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Physical & Mental Requirements
Standard Work, Physical and Mental Requirements apply. This primarily sedentary role involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs and moving files or boxes. Mental demands include reading, effective verbal and written communication, and maintaining emotional control and professionalism.
