Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a cross-functional program manager to develop scalable tools and optimize processes across multiple teams in One Grocery, supporting Amazon Now hyperlocal strategies. The role acts as a bridge among Central Selection, Insights, Trade Planning, and Vendor Experience to build local grocery selection and efficient operations.

Job description

This cross-functional role focuses on developing scalable tools, optimizing processes, and building mechanisms that support multiple strategic teams across Amazon's One Grocery, specifically Amazon Now's hyperlocal strategies. The position serves as a critical bridge between the Central Selection, Insights Team, Trade Planning Team, Vendor Experience team, and Operations to build the local selection for grocery and ensuring efficient business processes and operations.

Key job responsibilities

• Create, scale, and optimize business processes across all teams to enhance efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness
• Streamline business development processes to support selection, trade execution, and vendor management operations
• Develop and implement launch plans to pilot and roll out platforms across teams

Tools & Mechanism Development:

• Partner with product and technology teams to develop automated tools that enable data-driven decision making across selection, trade planning, and vendor experience functions
• Create mechanisms that support operational requirements and standards
• Define requirements and tool selection for centralized project intake, project and portfolio management

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Act as liaison between Central Selection & Insights, Trade Planning, and Vendor Experience teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholder teams
• Facilitate trade-off discussions in terms of schedule, scope, and resources
• Maintain strong communication with category teams, operations, supply chain/in-stock and vendor management teams, among others

Program Management:

• Manage work back schedules and oversee program documentation
• Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and analytics
• Develop user testing plans and ensure quality control
• Create and execute communication plans for process and tool rollouts
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture learnings

Stakeholder Management:

• Define RACI matrices for cross-functional initiatives
• Ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement through meetings, reviews, and communications
• Present progress and recommendations to leadership teams
• Manage expectations across multiple teams with competing priorities

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
• Knowledge of general AI tools
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
