Watch this video to learn more about our organization, SCOT: http://bit.ly/amazon-scot

SCOT operates on the bleeding edge of supply chain thought leadership and works on the most difficult problems in the industry. To maintain Amazon’s leadership in the industry, SCOT fosters continuous improvement, advocating game-changing ideas that create ever more intelligent and self-learning systems to maximize the efficiency, automation and scale of Amazon's massive supply chain operation.

SCOT Automated Inventory Management (AIM) owns the management of Amazon’s inventory investment and key business outcomes. We are the ones who are looking around the corners to connect the dots that no one is thinking about yet and then driving those insights into tangible results. If you'd like to help us build on Amazon’s experience where you can find and buy anything online and have it delivered fast, this is your chance to make history.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented driver and collaborator to join as a Senior Program Manager, focused on the Stores in North America. You will partner with key retail leaders, develop deep knowledge and insights to detect, drive actions and proactively steer to the right business outcomes. In this role, you will own strategic roadmap to improve customer experience and supply chain, as well as day to day business insights, to systemically improve supply chain defects.

You are also expected to steer and equip the business through the development of metrics and reporting solutions, ideation of new products and improvement mechanisms, data review and in-depth analysis. You will also collaborate with Principal/Senior PMs, BIEs and Tech Program Managers, similarly focused on driving business outcomes on specific segments.

The successful candidate will have strong supply chain expertise and problem-solving skills and can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of exploring uncharted business terrain, collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders to agree on the path forward, and delivering results by utilizing business insights and analytics. This role offers an opportunity to drive tangible business success, that will minimize costs while continuing to increase the quality and speed at which we deliver our customers’ orders.

Done correctly, this role will improve our customer experience by increasing the confidence and trust our customers have that Amazon is the one, best option for ‘want it, click it, have it.’ This role will be the global hub for strategic supply chain improvement for a given segment, and is a highly visible and critical position within Amazon.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams with competing priorities, establishing clear accountability and project management chains
  • Monitor and drive project execution to ensure quality delivery aligned with target dates; anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business needs against technical constraints while making strategic tradeoffs
