Job summary

MMD Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a Finance-led ERP transformation, focusing on stabilizing the Dynamics 365 go-live and guiding subsequent multi-entity integrations. This remote role requires strong ownership, governance, and cross-functional partnership with Finance and IT leadership in a US-based rollout.

You will report to the VP of IT PMO and drive milestones with the delivery teams, ensuring data readiness and governance across the program.

Qualifications

• Senior-level project management experience leading complex system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation.
• ERP integrations across multi-entity environments, including post-acquisition workloads.
• Strong finance domain knowledge and experience with financial systems programs.
• Proven ability to lead with minimal direction in a Finance-led governance model.

• Rebuild the Dynamics 365 project plan with workstreams, sequencing, and milestones.
• Manage the implementation partner and technical delivery teams to milestones.
• Establish project governance: status reporting, risk tracking, and dependency management.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business Systems to stabilize go-live and drive integration.
• Plan and lead the next phase: onboarding acquired entities into D365, including AR/AP data load.

Our client organization is scaling fast (fueled by recent acquisitions) and rebuilding its financial systems foundation to match that growth. The technical implementation is in good shape. What's missing is the project leadership to bring it home: tighter planning, clearer governance, and someone who can turn a program that's lost momentum into one that's back on track.

You'll report directly to the VP of IT PMO (a relationship our team has built over 5+ years) and partner closely with Finance and Business leadership on a Finance-led, IT-sourced initiative. What You'll Own

• Rebuild the Dynamics 365 project plan including workstreams, sequencing, and milestones from current state forward
• Manage the implementation partner and technical delivery teams, holding them to milestones and data readiness standards
• Stand up project governance: status reporting, risk and issue tracking, dependency management, and structured planning artifacts
• Partner with Finance and Business Systems leadership to drive the current integration phase to a stable go-live
• Plan and lead the next phase: a second ERP integration and onboarding of newly acquired entities into D365, including AR/AP data load-in
• Surface risks and blockers early, keeping Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders ahead of issues rather than reacting to them

What You Bring

• Senior-level project management experience leading complex system integrations
• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience (required)
• ERP integration experience, ideally spanning multiple platforms
• Experience supporting M&A activity including systems integration, entity onboarding, or similar post-acquisition work
• Strong finance/accounting domain knowledge or direct experience on financial systems programs
• Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) integration projects
• A track record of stepping into an at-risk, in-flight project and getting it back on schedule
• Comfort operating in a Finance-led, IT-supported governance model, with strong executive-level communication skills
