As a Program Manager for Retail Store Change Management, you'll lead strategic initiatives that transform our physical retail spaces, including Whole Foods Market locations and Amazon grocery stores. Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of store change requests, from initial assessment through implementation
- Develop and optimize change management processes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Analyze business cases and financial impacts for proposed store modifications
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, Construction, Finance, and Operations teams
- Present recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership


A day in the life
Your day might begin with a meeting reviewing proposed store modifications with regional teams. You'll analyze the business impact of these changes, create detailed project plans, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. Throughout the day, you'll monitor ongoing projects, resolve challenges, and ensure all modifications align with our customer-first approach. You'll also spend time developing presentation materials for leadership reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our change management processes.

About the team
The Retail Growth and Development team is passionate about creating exceptional shopping experiences through innovative store design and strategic improvements. We're responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining Amazon's grocery retail locations across the globe. Our team combines retail expertise with data-driven decision-making to continuously enhance our stores' physical environments. We value diverse perspectives and encourage creative problem-solving to drive results that matter to our customers and communities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
