As a Program Manager for Retail Store Change Management, you'll lead strategic initiatives that transform our physical retail spaces, including Whole Foods Market locations and Amazon grocery stores. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation while ensuring seamless execution of store modifications that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Lead end-to-end management of store change requests, from initial assessment through implementation.
  2. Develop and optimize change management processes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  3. Analyze business cases and financial impacts for proposed store modifications.
  4. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, Construction, Finance, and Operations teams.
  5. Present recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership.

A day in the life:
Your day might begin with a virtual meeting reviewing proposed store modifications with regional teams. You'll analyze the business impact of these changes, create detailed project plans, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. Throughout the day, you'll monitor ongoing projects, resolve challenges, and ensure all modifications align with our customer-first approach. You'll also spend time developing presentation materials for leadership reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our change management processes.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of design experience.
- Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions.
- Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (agile to waterfall).
- Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management.

The base pay for this position ranges from $122,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
