Job summary

INDUS Technology, a government services provider, seeks Sr. Program Management Specialist to support NAVWAR FM across HQ, DRPM, and PEO programs. Based in San Diego, CA, you will lead lifecycle planning, analysis, documentation, and IPT-facilitated decisions to drive program success.

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of the program lifecycle for PMW/A 520 SCN clients.
  • Provide program planning, development, and analytical support within an IPT environment.
  • Coordinate with APMs and program office leads to develop and manage inputs and deliverables.
  • Support Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion planning, documentation, and program execution activities.
  • Develop program documentation, briefings, and decision-support materials.
  • Prepare materials to support program decisions, milestone reviews, and leadership engagements.
  • Coordinate inputs to spend plans and POM.
  • Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and execute program meetings and briefings.
  • Capture and track meeting outcomes and action items.
  • Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Analyze program information to support leadership decisions.
  • Maintain awareness of requirements, schedules, priorities, and milestones.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Business Financial Management (BFM) Team is acquiring Financial Management (FM) support services for NAVWAR Headquarters (HQ), Direct Reporting Program Manager (DRPM) and multiple NAVWAR Program Executive Office's (PEO) programs and projects. The BFM Team promotes use of common business/financial tools and best business practices throughout NAVWAR and provides business and financial management support across all NAVWAR organizations. The BFM Team is responsible for management of NAVWAR's Programming, Planning, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) phases to include: formulation, implementation and reconciliation. The BFM Team provides analysis and implementation of integrated command business management and financial processes and systems that deliver best business practices to provide accurate and timely corporate information. The BFM Team is chartered to provide corporate analysis and information that depicts the financial health of the Systems Command (SYSCOM) and associated PEOs, including product and service output, resource consumption, performance measures and is also responsive to sponsor and customer Requests for Information (RFIs). The BFM Team also performs business and financial management and acquisition support services across all NAVWAR HQ and associated DRPM and PEO organizations. These services include, but are not limited to: coordination and management of PPBE and fiscal resource management efforts, including liaison support in the collection of planning data and execution of spend plans.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Sr. Program Management Specialist provides program lifecycle planning, development, analysis, documentation, meeting facilitation, and decision support within an Integrated Product Team environment for PMW/A 520 Shipbuilding and Conversion (SCN) clients on the PEO C4I BFM Contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Support all phases of the program lifecycle for PMW/A 520 SCN clients.
  • Provide program planning, development, and analytical support within an Integrated Process Team (IPT) environment.
  • Coordinate with Assistant Program Managers (APMs) and program office functional leads to develop and manage program inputs and deliverables.
  • Support Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion (SCN) planning, documentation, and program execution activities.
  • Develop program documentation, briefings, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Prepare materials to support program decisions, milestone reviews, and leadership engagements.
  • Support development and coordination of inputs to spend plans and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
  • Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and execute program meetings, working groups, and briefings.
  • Capture and track meeting outcomes, action items, decisions, and follow-up requirements.
  • Coordinate across program stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables and assigned actions.
  • Analyze program information and provide organized inputs to support leadership decision-making.
  • Maintain awareness of program requirements, schedules, priorities, and key milestones to support effective program execution.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience providing program/project management support in a NAVWAR, U.S. Navy program office, or similar DoD environment.
  • Experience with Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion or Shipyard programs.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Travel Required ~25% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoW acquisition program offices and familiarity with Defense Acquisition System desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
