AMSG is seeking a Sr Program Analyst to support DHS with strategic foresight, trend analysis, and scenario development. The role involves horizon scanning, systems analysis, and long-range planning to influence homeland security missions.

Location: Washington, DC & Remote. Start Date: 1 October 2026. Requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance. Strong written and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in strategic planning, futures analysis, or policy development.
• Experience applying foresight methodologies and scenario planning.
• Excellent written communication and executive presentation skills.
• Secret clearance required; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trend analysis and horizon scanning.
• Monitor emerging technologies, geopolitical developments, and risk indicators.
• Develop future scenarios and strategic forecasts.
• Facilitate foresight workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Apply systems thinking to complex mission environments.
• Identify operational impacts of future trends.
• Develop indicators to assess future developments and scenario validity.
• Integrate foresight findings into planning and decision-making processes.
• Produce executive briefings, strategic recommendations, and analytical reports.
• Support visioning and backcasting activities to align future objectives with current actions.

AMSG is seeking a Sr Program Analystto support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and provide strategic foresight supportby identifying emerging trends, future risks, scenario development, horizon scanning, systems analysis, long-range strategic planning,andother opportunities that may influence homeland security missions.
