Job summary

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Full-Time PACU Registered Nurse to care for pediatric patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The PACU recovers 50-70 patients daily from the Operating Room, Procedure Center, and Interventional Radiology, with nurses caring for 1-2 patients at a time, primarily daylight hours with occasional evenings and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN license required; pediatric experience preferred.

You'll work closely with anesthesiologists and an experienced multidisciplinary team while enjoying a schedule that is primarily daylight. Schedule:

Full-time position working four 9-hour shifts per week on a rotating schedule. Hours are primarily daylight (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.), with occasional evening shifts (3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.), on-call responsibilities, and rotating weekend coverage.
