Duke University is seeking a Sr. Production Technician (Part-Time) to provide hands-on leadership and operations support for lighting, audio, video, scoring, and production systems across campus events.
You will work with a team of technical professionals, student staff, faculty, and external partners to deliver safe, high-quality experiences. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining production gear, training staff, and ensuring on-time delivery of events.

Support the successful execution of events and performances across campus by contributing to all aspects of Duke Technical Services operations.
Work collaboratively with campus stakeholders and event partners to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Provide day‑to‑day leadership and operational guidance to support successful event execution.
Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Multimedia, Event Production, Technical Production, or a closely related field.
OR
Four years of relevant technical event support, theatrical production, or special events experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
No additional experience beyond the required degree is necessary.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $21.30 to USD $33.52. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
