Summary

Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, this individual will execute product planning and product development strategies for Goertek's value propositions in the North America and Europe markets. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership to organize and execute quarterly roadmap meetings and driving the execution of their outputs.

The candidate will oversee the development of marketing & sales materials, manage product management deliverables such as market research, analysis, forecasts, and ROI assessments. They will work directly with customers and key technology suppliers and represent the company at public events as needed.

The ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set covering marketing and business development, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically. They should operate independently, identify actionable steps in ambiguous situations, and follow directions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales to achieve revenue targets, develop sales tools and presentations, conduct competitive research, and validate new opportunities.
  • Establish and promote a vision, incorporate opportunities, and integrate new technologies into product roadmaps. Engage in business development to create technology partnerships and understand market offerings related to Goertek.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify growth areas, brainstorm strategies, and pursue strategic success avenues.
  • Prepare for and participate in briefings, technical meetings, and strategic planning sessions, often driving these initiatives.
  • Maintain curiosity about unfamiliar areas, especially in technology and human factors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or computer).
  • 7-10 years of experience in consumer electronics (smartphones, tablets, TV, etc.), including at least 2 years in a managerial role (product or account management).
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing large projects with global teams, prioritizing, and goal setting in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for comprehensive discussions and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15% domestically and internationally.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
  • Salary range: $127,029 - $177,840 annually, depending on skills and experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AR/VR technology, system design, key components, software stacks, computer vision, machine learning, or AI deployments in cloud or edge environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
  • Proven customer engagement experience, with a track record of penetrating new markets and exceeding market demands.
  • Ability to manage complex challenges and translate market needs into marketing specifications.
  • Understanding of ODM business operations from design to manufacturing.
