Job description

Sr. Product Manufacturing Engineer-Calibration/Metrology (Finance)

Join a team that applies its technical expertise and knowledge to ensure SNAP gas products are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be the technical lead responsible for offering service, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of Honeywell SNAP (Sonic Auto Nozzle Prover) product development and service. You will complete the SNAP pre-commissioning and final commissioning process in adherence to Honeywell-approved practices. Additionally, you will be part of the Honeywell Gas Metrology technical team that provides service and support to existing installations and customers across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete SNAP / Provers pre/final commissioning across assigned geographic areas.
  2. Complete Bell Strapping and certification processes.
  3. Complete SNAP / Provers site calibrations / certification process.
  4. Provide SNAP customer support and field problem resolution (hardware and software).
  5. Support SNAP training at customer sites.
  6. Provide phone product support.
  7. Perform statistical data analysis to drive resolution to problems and support development.
  8. Drive continuous product improvement using data from field learnings.
  9. Resolve SNAP field product technical issues using gas metrology fundamentals.
  10. Manage assigned customer accounts using project management tools.
  11. Facilitate and support team lean initiatives and improvements.
  12. Follow established EHS policies and risk assessment processes.

This is a 100% remote role that requires frequent travel to support manufacturing sites in Cartersville, GA, or Nebraska City, NE, and within the US, Mexico, and Canada (approximately 80% travel).

Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, field service, or quality engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

  • Metrology experience and knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, electronics, electrical technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Hands-on calibration experience (flow, pressure, temperature, process instruments).
  • Knowledge of ANSI B109.1, ISO 17025, ISO 9001 standards.
  • Gas metrology industry experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
  • Proven success in project contributions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively on projects.

This is a 100% remote role that requires frequent travel to support manufacturing sites in Cartersville, GA, or Nebraska City, NE, and within the US, Mexico, and Canada (approximately 80% travel).
