This Sr Product Manager will be focused on defining strategy, building product backlog, and managing key initiatives while partnering closely with engineering to ensure a best-in-class e2e product experience. This role will need to keep the consumer at the core of building, testing, and GTM plans for all products in their portfolio. Performance metrics will include

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand competitive landscape, and market and consumer needs
  • Constantly collect and analyze performance data (e.g., market; financial; operational) in order to enhance existing products and identify new opportunities for the business
  • Oversee portfolio of directed spend products, including but not limited to: Supporting definition and execution of product roadmaps, and driving near and long-term strategies to increase product value over time
  • Drive and manage high-quality execution of new products across organizational matrix
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on specific marketplace and product topics
  • Support sales and account management for key client activities
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and external partners to gain an understanding of business needs and be able to adapt product strategy, priorities, and business plans accordingly
  • Develop a point of view and advocate for a position and product at all levels of the organization, including directly to executive leadership
  • Navigate ambiguity with ease

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of non-technical Business Strategy Product Management or Product Development experience with a business focus including execution of product roadmaps and driving near and long-term strategies, with experience within the Healthcare Industry
  • 5+ years of experience with M&A, Medicaid, and commercial products
  • 5+ years of experience with benefit planning, and/or member materials development processes (benefit e.g. transportation, fitness, caregiver, utilities, health and wellbeing, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with CMS required materials and content
  • 5+ years of experience achieving goals in a matrix environment
  • 5+ years of experience working collaboratively to influence others
  • 5+ years of experience communicating at all levels of an organization, including executive presentations

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
