When changes occur, you will communicate schedule, quality and cost updates to partners and clearly communicate remaining risks. You’ll collaborate across all levels of marketing, brand design and sales about product features and benefits to help facilitate effective messaging and with the sourcing, operations and logistics teams to efficiently bring products to market. You will be able to sell your products to internal partners as well as external buyers and vendors. You will lead and mentor the team and provide insight and guidance into category strategy, resulting in tools that make everyday living better for millions of people. Strategic business planning for a major category of business including meeting financial goals (revenue and margin) and day to day category management. Planning a product pipeline, seeing opportunities and executing a long- and short-term strategic vision. Project managing products in your pipeline to deliver products on time and quality. Cross-functionally build consensus around long and short-term product development strategies. Building positive relationships with key vendors, strategic customers and industry partners. Product Line Maintenance, responding to quality concerns, participating in cost negotiations and identifying and implementing product refreshes. Participate in companywide initiatives to improve processes, functions, communications, and company culture.
