Job summary

Confiz Limited in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the Communications Platform (CSP) for a major retail client. You will own the Adobe Journey Optimizer migration and collaborate with engineering, Adobe, and business teams to optimize customer communications across email, push, and SMS.

The role is hybrid—onsite 4 days per week with remote Fridays, with a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PT schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in a technology-driven environment, ideally with marketing technology or CRM/ESP platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Hands-on familiarity with ESP platforms (AJO/AEM, SFMC) or comparable platforms.
• Experience with data feeds and reporting integrations (BigQuery, Looker, GA4) across CDP, loyalty, and lifecycle platforms.
• Experience partnering with engineering on technical scoping and platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the remaining phases of the Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) migration, including lifecycle journeys and communication preferences.
• Serve as the primary product contact for Adobe relationship and delivery alignment with implementation partners.
• Collaborate with CSP Platform Engineering on improvements to communication capabilities and data integrations.
• Translate business needs into clear, prioritized specs for trigger logic and workflow builds.
• Drive communication strategy, channel selection, frequency, and personalization while balancing trust and revenue.

Confiz is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join one of our largest retail clients in Seattle, WA.This role will lead the Communications Platform (CSP) product, with primary ownership of the ongoingAdobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) migration. It requires strong product management experience across MarTech/CRM/ESP platforms, partnering closely with engineering, Adobe, and business teams to optimize customer communications across email, push, and SMS.

Responsibilities

• Own the remaining phases of our Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) migration, including lifecycle journeys, the upcoming communication preferences while keeping delivery on track against committed milestones.
• Serve as the primary product point of contact for our Adobe relationship, including Adobe Consulting Services and Adobe Ultimate Success, managing scope discussions, escalations, and delivery alignment with our implementation partners.
• Partner with our CSP Platform Engineering team on communication preference improvements and enhancements to our communication capabilities, including trigger logic, collision control, and audience/data integrations across email, push, and text.
• Partner with CRM Strategy, CRM Enablement, Loyalty, Credit, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Drive strategy discussions with the business on optimal communication channels and send frequency, balancing customer trust, deliverability, and revenue impact.
• Track and report on migration milestones, dependencies, and risks to the CSP Core Team and leadership, maintaining momentum on an active, multi-quarter migration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in a technology-driven environment, ideally with accountability for marketing technology, CRM, or communications/ESP platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience required; advanced degree a plus.
• Hands-on familiarity with email service provider (ESP) platforms, ideally Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), or comparable platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Bluecore, or similar).
• Experience with data feeds and reporting integrations, including customer and product data feeds, and reporting pipelines (BigQuery, Looker, GA4) across CDP, loyalty, and lifecycle platforms.
• Comfort partnering directly with engineering on technical scoping and platform architecture, translating business requirements into clear, prioritized specs for trigger logic, data integrations, and workflow builds.
• Experience managing vendor or partner relationships, including scope negotiations, escalations, and delivery alignment.
• Strong communication and judgment, with a proven ability to build context quickly and keep partners aligned without missing a beat.
• Proven ability to define and drive communication strategy, including channel selection, frequency and collision control, and personalization — balancing customer trust with business impact.
