Job summary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

  • End-to-end ownership of major project deliverables.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own product strategy for your domain within the Private Pricing platform, translating ambiguous business problems into clear product vision and prioritized roadmaps.
  • Drive 0-to-1 product development — identify gaps in the customer and seller experience, validate hypotheses through data, and ship solutions that measurably improve outcomes.
  • Influence without authority across GDSP and cross-organizational teams to secure resources, align priorities, and deliver at scale.
  • Leverage data and generative AI to reimagine workflows — identifying where automation, ML, and Gen AI can eliminate friction and unlock new capabilities.
  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Communicate strategy and results to executive leadership through written narratives, using data to drive decisions and secure investment.
  • Establish scalable frameworks for prioritization, requirements documentation, and stakeholder alignment that elevate the entire product management function.

AWS Private Pricing is one of the most strategically important commercial programs at Amazon Web Services — enabling enterprise customers to accelerate their cloud transformation through multi-year commitments in exchange for pricing value, expanded service access, and innovation opportunities. The program drives billions in committed revenue and shapes AWS's deepest, longest-lasting customer relationships. Private Pricing is now at an inflection point: we are expanding access beyond traditional enterprise segments, evolving the value proposition, and fundamentally reimagining the deal experience through automation and generative AI.

Key job responsibilities
  • Define and own product strategy for your domain within the Private Pricing platform, translating ambiguous business problems into clear product vision and prioritized roadmaps

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience managing analytics, data science or technology teams, with a product or insight focus
  • Experience Experienced with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance), or experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
  • Experience in deal management and pricing strategy, or financial consulting
  • Bachelor's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • 7+ years of successful technology products work from ideation through launch experience
  • 7+ years of workflow experience
  • Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
