The Amazon Canada team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead various tools and processes related to profitability, cost management, and negotiations, across the Canada retail business. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and driving an extensive multi-year roadmap, making high judgement decisions on trade-offs and priorities, and delivering a step-level improvement in profitability. You will partner closely with US/central teams, helping to localize products/tools for Canada, and will influence and drive change across a diverse group of stakeholders including finance and vendor management teams. You will develop strong mechanisms to drive alignment and accountability throughout the organization and communicate regularly with senior leadership. You will also balance dive deep and near-term results with strategic thinking.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of the Retail P&L (income statement) including new metrics, key opportunities, and leverage points.
• Create and manage extensive multi-year roadmap including prioritization and trade-offs.
• Generate and implement big ideas to drive margin improvement, working closely with various cross functional partner teams.
• Identify new and innovative opportunities, write PR/FAQs, and present to broad internal audiences.
• Collaborate with and influence internal teams from various organizations and geographies at various levels throughout the organization.
• Develop new mechanisms to communicate regularly with key stakeholders including senior leadership and partner teams to understand objectives and opportunities.
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
